Elle Macpherson, born Eleanor Nancy Gow on March 29, 1964, is an Australian model, businesswoman, TV host, and actress. She got famous for landin’ five covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the ’80s, earnin’ her the nickname The Body.
She started her own companies, like Elle Macpherson Intimates for lingerie and The Body for skincare, where she’s the main face and creative director. From 2010 to 2013, she hosted and produced Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model. She was the host for the first season of NBC’s Fashion Star and an executive producer.
