Geffri Maya Hightower, born February 25, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress. She began her career with guest roles in series like Jericho (2006) and Everybody Hates Chris (2008). Hightower gained prominence portraying Maya Bennett in Private Practice (2007–2010). She furthered her career with roles in Black-ish (2014), Snowfall (2017), and Shots Fired (2017). Hightower is best known for her leading role as Simone Hicks in All American (2018–2022) and its spin-off All American: Homecoming (2022–2023).
