It’s the ‘truth’ about films, models are less self-conscious about using their bodies in a role (e.g., Charlize Theron, Milla Jovovich, etc.) and dancers/gymnasts make more convincing martial artists/action heroes (e.g., Jackie Chan, Jean Claude Van Damme, Patrick Swayze, etc.). Add Charlize and Milla to the second list too (I was being sexist in my original list).
A defining moment in my life – when I saw her sit up on that hospital bed… not to mention the ONLY reason this movie ever made it past the release – because I can’t remember much about the storyline except that I didn’t give a toss about it and never even new it was crap until I watched it a second time.
