Nathalie Pohl, born on October 13, 1994 in Marburg, is a German open-water and extreme swimmer. She holds world records in crossings such as the Strait of Gibraltar and the Jersey Channel, and in September 2024 became the first German woman to complete the “Oceans Seven” challenge. She is also known for her long-distance swims like the Kaiwi Channel and the Cook Strait. Beyond competition, she works to promote water safety, helping children learn to swim and raising awareness about open water risks.
