Paola Núñez Rivas, born April 8, 1978 in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, is a Mexican actress and producer. She kicked off her career in theater at age 12, then moved to Mexico City at 16 to train at TV Azteca’s CEFAC acting school and snag small telenovela roles.

She broke big in 2005 as the spoiled rich girl Barbie in the TV Azteca hit Amor en Custodia, which put her on the map internationally. From there she stacked up lead roles in soaps like Pasión Morena, Destino, and Reina de Corazones, plus films such as Deseo, Detrás del Poder, and El Más Buscado.
In 2017 she crossed over to U.S. TV as Maria in AMC’s The Son opposite Pierce Brosnan. Her Hollywood breakthrough came with Bad Boys for Life (2020) as the seductive therapist Lorraine, and she returned for Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024). She’s also starred in Netflix’s Resident Evil (2022) as the shady Evelyn Marcus and produced projects like the theater tour Sumergibles.
